Lesvos Magic Adventure

Due to other assignments, I do not arrange hiking tours on Lesvos in the 2024 season.

During January and February 2025, I am available for the arrangement of hiking and excursions in Cyprus.

Lesvos is a magical adventure where you meet the reel Greece. What is the real Greece? Lesvos is the third largest island in Greece and not exploited like other famous Greek tourist islands. Tourism is not Lesvos' main source of income. However, tourism is important and offer visitors all the amenities. Do you want the genuine, local culture, hospitality, family-run hotels and taverns with local food? If so, you've found it on Lesvos.

Hiking on Lesvos, let you come closer to meet locals and traditional villages. Many trails let you pass Orthodox churches and ancient monuments. You will also find a variety of nature with Lesvos trails in olive groves, pine forests and chestnut forests with elements of wild fruit trees. You can walk in other habitat types as cultural landscape with sheep and goats on loose housing. You find mountain areas but also wetlands with a rich birdlife.

Lesbos – vandringsturer och utflykter, (Lesbos - Walkings & Excursions). The book is written in Swedish. A good book for you who want to plan and go on your own hiking trips. The book is also packed with excursion destinations, sights, maps, pictures and all the information you possibly could need. 39 hikes and 2 pilgrimages are described in detail. The book also has general information and description of the neighboring islands of Chios and Lemnos. They are also presented with a walking tour on each island with several sites such as excursions.
